Technote Number: 1092433

Problem:
This issue was reported to Lotus Quality Engineering and was addressed in
Domino 5.0.2b and 5.0.3.

Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino Release 5.0.2b QMU and 5.03 QMR
fix lists:

SMTP Server
SPR# MSAN4DWTHF - Fix a crash introduced in R5.0.2 which happened when the SMTP
DSN extension was enabled for inbound traffic. [5.0.2b,5.0.3]Supporting Information:

Enabling this feature will not result in the server to crash. The problem
occurs when the RCPT command includes a NOTIFY command without the correct
parameters.

To disable this feature, open the Server Configuration document, select the
Router/SMTP tab, Advanced sub-tab, Commands and Extensions sub-tab, and set the
DSN Extension field to Disabled.
